Todd Creek Approval
Last week, the Adams County Board of County Commissioners voted 5-0 to approve the Todd Creek PUD Amendment and Preliminary Plat Filing 1. The Board felt that it would bring much needed housing options and availability to their community. The first Filing will include a 14-acre neighborhood park with sports fields and courts, shade shelters, age-separated playgrounds, and a trike track.
Seltzer Farms, Seltzer Heights, and Baseline Lakes East are the three new neighborhoods of the amended Todd Creek Residential Development. The vision for these properties is to include a greater variety of housing opportunities to meet the anticipated population growth and housing demand, as well as provide more attainable housing options in the area. The project is planned to be a multigenerational community with a range of housing including duplexes, multifamily, small lot and large lot single-family homes, and senior living with assisted care and independent living, including cottages. Due to Adams County not having a zoning code for senior living, our team created zoning and development standards for this component of the project.
